Introducing new Angelic reiki at House of Beauty with Jasmine. Angelic reiki is an energy healing treatment that works at a high frequency level. This means it works deep within the soul to relise years' worth of bottled up stress, rebalancing the energy system within the body and allowing the mind to come to a stand still. Angelic is very gentle and works for everyone. The treatment involves you lying on the bed, face up, fully clothed (unless you're getting a massage too) under a blanket or towel, and then falling into a relaxed state with your eyes closed.

Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing practice developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words:
• Rei = universal
• Ki = life energy (similar to chi in Chinese medicine or prana in yoga)

Together, Reiki means “universal life energy.”

🔹 How Reiki Is Believed to Work

Reiki practitioners believe that:
• There is a natural life force energy flowing through all living things.
• When this energy is low or blocked, a person may feel stress or illness.
• Reiki helps restore balance by channeling energy through the practitioner’s hands into the recipient.

During a session:
• The recipient usually lies fully clothed on a massage table.
• The practitioner lightly places hands on or just above specific body areas.
• Sessions typically last 45–90 minutes.
• Many people report feeling warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation.

🔹 What Reiki Is Used For

People often use Reiki for:
• Stress reduction
• Relaxation
• Emotional healing
• Pain management
• Support during illness (as a complementary therapy)

It is commonly offered in spas, wellness centers, and sometimes hospitals as a complementary practice.
